WELCOME BACK!

It’s already the third week of classes, and we’re excited to see so many new folks at the centre this fall, including new clay instructors: Abtahi Hassan, Eric Au, and Margaret Glavina. As well as Jessica Desjarlais teaching teen mixed media, and Christine Kirouac teaching coloured pencils.

You may have also seen a couple of new staff members around! This summer, through the Canada Summer Jobs program, we welcomed CJ Kacsmar as Education Programs Assistant and Maddie Alsip as Summer Art Camp Leader.

This fall, CJ is back at the University of Winnipeg completing their BA in Art History, and Maddie is back at the University of Manitoba completing her BFA in Studio Fine Arts. However, they are both staying on to help us out at the centre a couple days a week! You’ll see CJ on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings, and Maddie on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.

Welcome to the fall session, everyone!
