WHAT'S NEW AT FORUM ART CENTRE?

This week Forum Art Centre was invited to attend Hastings School’s STEAM Festival!

We were there letting the community know about upcoming art programs, including Spring Classes and Summer Camp – and the accessible options we offer to minimize barriers to accessing visual arts education. These include youth bursaries, and a flexible pricing scale for youth and adult classes.

The students also helped us create this collage of perspectives with a DRAW YOUR OWN LOBSTER activity! You may recognize this lobster from the collection of still life items at the centre 😉

INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT

Do you know artist and art instructor Jinyoung Park? You should!

Jin has been teaching watercolour classes at Forum Art Centre for the past few years and is an integral part of our watercolour programming. Having taught both Beginner and Intermediate Watercolour, as well as her new class Line & Wash Journaling. Jin’s students build a strong technical foundation in her classes often praise their experience for the amount they learn and for Jin’s kind and supportive instruction.
